- Always check that the wings are closed prior to transportion.
- Never operate a plow while transporting to or from a job site. Keep the plow control off in order to prevent accidental operation.
- Do not run curbs with wings fully extended, damage may result.
- Do not run plow’s wings wide open in heavy or deep snow. In deep snow raise the plow several inches off the ground to shear off the top layer, then repeat.
- We recommend operating the plow’s wing at a 45° angle for best results.
- We recommend not using excessive down pressure. The weight of the plow will sufficiently cut to the surface. The use of down pressure is only recommended on required grades. *Using excessive down pressure will reduce the longevity of the plows cutting edge.
- Slowly raise the plow when completing a pull. Allowing sufficient room to pull away from the pile, or back through the pile.
- When backing up, be aware of wings at all times, backing into an object or snow pile may result in wings coming in contact with truck box. We are in no way responsible for any damage.
- Plowing backwards is not recommended but is possible, damage to plow or truck may occur as a result.
